Bread

Wholemeal bread, also known as whole wheat bread, is made from flour that uses the entire wheat grain (bran, germ, and endosperm). Here are some key features of wholemeal bread:

1. Nutrient-Rich: Contains more fiber, vitamins, and minerals compared to white bread, as it retains all parts of the wheat grain.

2. Texture and Flavor: Generally has a denser texture and a nuttier, richer flavor than white bread.

3. Health Benefits: Often considered healthier due to its higher fiber content, which aids digestion and can help with heart health.

4. Appearance: Typically darker in color with a coarser crumb due to the presence of bran.

Wholemeal bread is a popular choice for those looking to add more whole grains to their diet and enjoy the additional nutritional benefits.
