Instruction
Step 1
Prepare the Dough :
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, bread improver and milk powder.
– In a separate bowl, heat the water, and butter until warm (not hot).
– Add the warm liquid to the flour mixture and mix well.
– Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
– Gradually add the remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Step 2
Knead the Dough :
– Turn the dough onto a floured surface.
– Knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 3
First Rise :
– Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth.
– Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Step 4
Shape the Dough :
– Punch down the dough to release air.
– If adding raisins, nuts, or chocolate chips, knead them into the dough.
– Shape the dough into a loaf or desired shape.
Step 5
Second Rise :
– Place the shaped dough in a greased loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
– Cover and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes until doubled in size.
Step 6
Preheat the Oven : Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 7
Bake the Bread :
– Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
– If the top browns too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.
