What you’ll Need

Creating delicious sandwich loaf bread requires having the right equipment and tools. Here’s what you’ll need:

1.

Mixing Bowls

2.

Donut Cutter

3.

Measuring Cups

4.

Spoons

5.

Rolling Pin

6.

Loaf Pan

Ingredients

  • Bread Flour – 1000 gram
  • Granulated Sugar – 150 gram
  • Instant Dry Yeast – 10 gram
  • Salt – 10 gram
  • Bread Improver – 3 gram
  • Milk Powder – 30 gram
  • Water – 550 to 570 gram
  • Shortening – 50 gram

Instruction

Step 1

Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt, bread improver and milk powder. Mix well

Step 2

Add Wet Ingredients : Add the water and shortening to the dry ingredients. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.

Step 3

Knead the Dough : Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. You can also use a stand mixer with a dough hook for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

First Rise : Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.

Step 5

Shape the Donuts : Once risen, punch down the dough to release the air. Turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a loaf. To do this, flatten the dough into a rectangle, then roll it tightly from one short side to the other.

Step 6

Second Rise : Place the shaped dough into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan. Cover it again and let it rise until it has risen above the rim of the pan, about 30-60 minutes.

Step 7

Preheat Oven : Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while the dough is rising.

Step 8

Bake : Once the dough has risen, bake it in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
